Landon is home to 650 students, 3,900 alumni, 200 faculty and staff, and countless parents, family and friends of the school — all part of a community that is bound together by the values we hold dear: perseverance, teamwork, honor and fair play. We are also a caring community that helps one another in times of need and celebrates our accomplishments together as one Landon.

Our parents are encouraged to be active participants in school life. We offer you many opportunities to be involved: as guest speakers, room parents, mentors and volunteers. From organizing community service events for the school, to serving as an admissions ambassador for new families or providing an opportunity for a student to work as a summer intern at your company, our parents find ways to be involved that are meaningful and rewarding.

Our alumni emphasize time and time again the strength of the bonds they form with their Landon classmates and the affection they feel for the school years after they graduate. Landon offered more than 30 official alumni events in 2018-19. Alumni regularly attend networking events around the country, return enthusiastically to Landon for our annual alumni weekend, and get together for a U.S. Supreme Court tour, NFL games and much more.

Our faculty members do more than just teach in the classroom. They coach boys on the playing field and on the stage, and serve as faculty advisors who meet with boys individually and in small groups. They attend football games, music concerts, alumni events and more to celebrate our boys in everything they do. Our faculty are truly teacher-coach-mentors in every way.
