Parent Portal Logins Issued

Landon Back-to-School information for all divisions is now available in the Parent Portal. Parents should log in to the Parent Portal to find general school and division-specific information in the section called "Back-to-School."

The 2012-2013 Student Directory will be snail-mailed to families later this week.

PARENT PORTAL LOGINS: Parent Portal logins were e-mailed directly to all parents on August 2, 2012. (Returning parents' logins have not changed.) If you do not see a message in your Inbox from Landon School (landon@landon.net), please check your spam folder.

ACCESSING THE PARENT PORTAL:

• Every parent has his/her own login.
• To log in to the Parent Portal, go to www.landon.net/parentportal.
• Once you log in to the portal, you can change your password under "My Account."
• If you forget your login, click "Forgot your username/password" link below the login box.
• The Quick Start Guide will help you navigate the portal. More information can be found in the portal’s "Web Help" tab.

STUDENT PORTALS AND CLASSES: Student Portal logins will not be available until the week before school begins. Student class pages will not be available until school begins.

ORIENTATION: Orientation for NEW Lower and Middle School students and their parents, as well as for ALL of Grade 6, will be held on Friday, August 31. Upper School Orientation for all NEW students will be Wednesday, August 29. Form III students will travel to Camp Letts for Thursday and Friday, August 30 and 31. (Check the Orientation Schedule.)

PRESEASON ATHLETICS: For Upper School students, sports practices begin no earlier than August 15. (Check the Preseason Schedule.)

NEWS: Get the latest news about what’s going on at Landon by signing up for alerts and RSS feeds. Alerts are available from the main news and calendar pages. Click the alerts button at the top right of the screen to sign up for e-mail alerts for news posts and calendars. (Alternatively, you can sign up for Landon’s RSS news feeds by clicking on the RSS logo on the bottom of www.landon.net. A pop-up window will appear and you will be able to choose your subscription from the available feeds.)
