The Arts
The Arts at Landon School contribute to the multidimensionality of a boy's education, whether formally or informally. Landon's Arts program promotes an active involvement in both the studio and performing arts.
All students participate in music, drama or studio art during their Landon career. In Lower and Middle School, boys enjoy time in the art studio as well as working with a performance group. In Middle School, boys can elect music or drama to fill their performing art requirement. The Upper School has a two-year arts requirement where boys can target their interest to music, studio art and/or drama.
Landon's arts program is among the strongest and most highly regarded in the region, and our artists routinely compete — and excel — in music and drama festivals, as well as art competitions. Through our English Department, boys also explore their interest in creative writing, another art form.
Our faculty are active artists and performers who work alongside students to create art that reflects both creativity and skill. The Performing Arts Department is led by Earl Jackson. The Studio Arts Department is led by Austin Zimmer.
We invite you to show your Landon Pride and attend our many performances and exhibits.
