Abroad Programs
Landon engages in an exchange program which traditionally has welcomed students to our campus from Australia and China, and occasionally sends students abroad. For the 2009-2010 School Year, Landon welcomes a foreign exchange student from the China who will be joining Form IV.
In addition, through our Landon in Summer program, the School offers cultural and language immersion programs in China, France, Italy and Spain.
Landon in China Students from Landon and many other schools have traveled to China on this co-educational trip since 2001. Participants travel to Beijing, Shanghai, Yangshuo and Xi'an. For the 4 week language immersion program, students stay with families in Beijing and Chengdu.

Landon in Greece and Italy This year a group of Italian students will again be visiting Landon from April 24 through May 2, 2009 (tentative dates) as part of an exchange program through this year’s Landon in Greece and Italy summer program.
A group of approximately fifteen Italian students from a school in the Bay of Naples will be traveling to visiting and staying with our students while they are here. This region is famous for the ancient cities of Herculaneum and Pompeii, destroyed in the famous eruption of 79 almost 2000 years ago. Our students will have the opportunity to stay with them in early July as part of the Landon in Greece and Italy summer program and live in the Bay of Naples. This region is one of the most beautiful in the world and also boasts an amazing tradition of fine cuisine. The beaches are also minutes away along with the beautiful city of Naples, the Amalfi coast, and the incredible island of Capri. Students will also stay in Rome and then in Cortona, Tuscany near Florence and Siena for the remainder of the Italian portion of the program. The program will begin in Greece, June 14 and take the students to Athens, the islands, including Naxos, Delos, Thera and Crete as well as ancient Thessaly and Macedonia.
