Parents
LANDON SCHOOL welcomes the active involvement of our parent body. Your participation helps to build a warm and welcoming community while providing support and resources that enrich your son's educational experience. We encourage you to reach out to new families and help them discover all that Landon has to offer.
Parents who wish to contact the School regarding academic issues are encouraged to begin with their son's advisor or homeroom teacher. For athletics, contact your son's coach.
Volunteer Opportunities
Parents can contribute as volunteers at Landon School in many ways, from accepting a formal position within one of the parents' organizations, to stepping up to chaperone a school event to working one shift or many during the Azalea Garden Festival. Parents also help with the Landon Store, the libraries, the Music Department, Annual Fund phonathons and other areas on campus.
Parent Associations
Both of Landon's parent organizations have sign-ups at the beginning of the school year for specific committees and projects.
Landon Fathers Club (LFC)
The LFC supports the work of the School in various academic, arts, music, drama, sports programs, student clubs, community service projects and policy initiatives of the School. There are many father-son events like the spaghetti dinner, ski trip, and golf outing. LFC also sponsors joint community and multicultural events with the Mothers Association, and lends support to many Azalea Festival activities.

Annual Fund
Contributions to the Annual Fund are used in the current school year to meet basic needs from classroom equipment to field maintenance; funds raised by the Azalea Festival support Student Financial Assistance and Faculty Enrichment. The Landon Annual Fund welcomes parent volunteers who assist with phonathons to raise class funds for the School's most important annual fundraising effort.

Azalea Events
The Azalea Garden Festival is a year-long event entirely run by volunteers, and every member of the Landon community is encouraged to participate. Starting with the Wine Event, a Community builder party hosted by the Armstrong's; the Greens Sale; Fling into Spring Dance; and the Azalea Weekend event. Volunteers do everything from selecting, setting up and selling azaleas just outside the Headmaster's Office to hauling supplies, setting up grills and flipping burgers at Riddle's Griddle.
