Thanks to all for a great 40th edition of the Greens Sale!
All proceeds from the 40th Annual Greens Sale and Holiday Boutique benefited student financial assistance and faculty enrichment programs at Landon.

Thanks to the Volunteers!

The 40th anniversary Greens Sale was a roaring success thanks to the support of the Landon community and friends who attended the Preview Party, shopped at Greens, bought trees from the Bear Lot and donated in many generously ways!

Tremendous thanks to Landon Development, committee chairs and volunteers, who worked so hard to support Landon Tuition Assistance and Faculty Enrichment.

A special shout-out to the Landon Grounds and Maintenance Crew, who promptly and cheerfully hauled, set-up, arranged, lifted, delivered and did everything else needed to support the Greens Sale volunteers. Without them, it simply wouldn’t have happened! And to Sodexo General Manager Charmion Wood for the scones, brownies, and apple pies sold at Bear Bakery and for the hot drinks and sweet treats volunteers enjoyed during Greens.

Janis Glenn, mother of Luke Glenn, for repeatedly welcoming teams of Landon volunteers to her spectacular farm, Rocklands, to cut fresh greens and identify the rustic props featured at the Barn AND for delivering, staging and removing them. Watch for an evening at the Glenn family farm to be auctioned at Landon’s Wine Tasting in 2013!

John Hughes Landscaping CEO and Founder John Hughes for outstanding assistance in delivering fresh, superior trees and staffing the Bear Tree Lot alongside our volunteer families.

Alison Morgan, for creating the colorful array of homemade gingerbread houses that sold out at the Bear Bakery and discounting them to defer our expenses.

Paul’s Liquors for the cheer they brought to the Preview Party.

Potomac Floral Sales Manager Evan Katzman for managing large orders and making multiple deliveries of the best fresh greens ever for the Landon campus and Greens Sale.
