We lost our first dual meet against a tough Bishop Ireton 38-21. Ireton is one of the top programs in Virginia, so we feel confident that we can hang with the best.

All four freshman did an excellent job against more experienced tough wrestlers. Will DeFrancis wrestled a Virginia State finalist from last year.
Victories from Poole, Flajser, Matisoff, and Petrash are all attributed to their dedication and hard work over the summer and during the first two weeks of practice.

At the JV Level:

We won four of the five matches.
Andrew Hendricks and Chris Vincent earned their first high school victories with pins, and Jon Stewart and Ajit Thagad both won impressively.
John Stewart’s effort in the off season is paying off tremendously- well done.
