Careers
At Landon School, a national leader in boys’ college preparatory education, teachers challenge and inspire every boy to become the best version of himself.
Like all great educators, you want to teach in an environment that empowers you to make the greatest impact in your students’ lives. Landon students are eager to learn, and our unique Teacher-Coach-Mentor (TCM) model allows faculty to see students through multiple perspectives and leverage strong relationships that foster boys’ growth in all areas.

What is TCM?
Boys work harder and achieve more when they respect and connect with their teachers. Landon faculty members are experts in boys’ education and know that boys will only fully open themselves to complex intellectual problems and inspirational ideas when they trust that their teachers genuinely care about their well-being and success.
This is the basis of our entire educational approach – what we call Teacher-Coach-Mentor – and the exceptional men and women at Landon treat this responsibility with the seriousness, commitment, and energy it deserves.
Portrait of a Teacher-Coach-Mentor
Landon educators are offered a unique opportunity to shape school culture through their daily presence, relationships, and commitment to growth.
Our ambition is that Landon TCMs are described individually and collectively, throughout their careers, as educators who embrace the following dispositions.
