On behalf of the students, faculty, staff and trustees of Landon School, we welcome your interest in our school community. We invite you to learn more about the Landon experience and gain insight into our myriad offerings and opportunities.
As an independent, non-sectarian day school for boys in Grades 3 through 12, Landon maintains a supportive and caring environment attuned to the developmental, social and emotional needs of growing boys. We understand boys and celebrate their natural energy and exuberance. Below are three facts we would like you to know as you consider Landon (more can be found here).
At Landon, each boy has the opportunity to achieve his personal best academically, artistically, athletically, and in service to others. We appreciate how boys learn, and we offer a unique, boy-focused environment where every student can be himself and work at being his best. Because we specialize in educating boys, our faculty values the unique qualities of boys and provides a comprehensive program to challenge and support each boy at every juncture.
Our mission asserts: “Landon School prepares talented boys for productive lives as accomplished, responsible and caring men, whose actions are guided by the principles of perseverance, teamwork, honor and fair play,” and we declare it true.
