Landon hosts a variety of admissions events over the course of the year.  All are designed to offer information about the school, its programs, the faculty and our community. You may choose to come to one or many events. Our goal is for each family to feel well-informed about Landon and the admissions process.

Information Sessions

Information sessions typically happen twice in the fall so you can learn more about the Landon experience and to explore our campus. Although our information sessions have passed, if you are interested in learning about the Lower School (Grades 3-5), please consider attending one of our Tour Tuesday events held throughout the year. If you are interested in our Middle (Grades 6-8) or Upper (Grades 9-12) Schools for the 2019-20 school year, please contact the Admissions Office at or 301-320-1067.

Admissions Appointments

If you have already applied to Landon, please contact the Admissions Office at or 301-320-1067 to schedule an appointment for you and your son to visit our school. The 90-minute appointment, scheduled during school hours, includes an interview and full campus tour for your family.

Be a human: listen to your heart and the world around us

The following blog post is adapted from an ethics speech given by Middle School social studies teacher-coach-mentor Brian Reilly '09 (right, alongside Associate Director of College Counseling and fellow Landon alum Forbes Mann '04).In it, Reilly reflects on what he believes makes humans unique, and how we have the opportunity to be global citizens.
