Golf

The team's success requires a built-in culture of mentorship and inclusivity among the team members. 

Golfers must play as partners in most matches and prepare strategically together. The varsity team travels both as a team and as a program, often including Middle School and JV athletes in an effort to build the camaraderie and trust necessary for this mentorship to grow. Landon golfers also know that they must be responsible and accountable to their teammates and in their daily approach to schoolwork and all other areas of school life.

Athletes who participate in golf can expect to be part of a group that is always competing, that espouses to be the league champions each year, and to qualify for Metros. They can expect to be widely recognized as a very difficult match on everyone’s schedule and to be part of a group where the veteran players were taken care of by older Bears when they were younger, and now they are thrilled to pay it forward as they take care of the younger Bears. The golf program is a that impacts the community positively and works throughout the year to make others’ lives better.
