15 seniors commit to play college sports

Class of 2017 college commits

Fifteen members of the Class of 2017 have committed to play NCAA college athletics next year. They join the ranks of more than 160 Bears who have played college sports over the past decade, including 59 in the last three years.

On November 16, 10 lacrosse players, two golfers, two baseball players and one swimmer participated in a ceremony to formalize their commitments to compete for institutions that include the United States Naval Academy, Cornell University and Duke University.

The 15 seniors who have announced their college athletics plans thus far are listed below. Other members of the Class of 2017 are expected to declare their college sports commitments this winter and spring.
