Oliver Lafuente '26 has been a standout on this year's Football team. A team leader and star player on the field, Oliver perseveres, competes to the best of his ability, and has made a big impact on the team and on the school.

Landon Summer is a summer camp for kids ages 4-17 held at Landon from June 15-August 14, 2026. Campers can participate in a wide variety of camps, including Day Camps; sports camps such as Brit-Am Soccer and Flag Star Football; as well as specialized camps such as Abrakadoodle Art Camp and Incrediflix Movie Camp. These camps provide enjoyment and are beneficial for everyone involved, whether it is campers, counselors, or directors.

Election season for the Student Council occurs every spring at Landon. This year, the Upper School was presented with five qualified candidates to choose from.  After days of speeches, discussion, and two rounds of voting, the Upper School student body elected Jack Mearns ‘27.

From bonfires to roaring student sections, the winter season is defined by tradition, school spirit, and interconnectedness across grade levels. Although the temperature drops and the days get shorter, the energy at Landon remains high, and the community comes together in many meaningful ways.

Leadership compliments Landon's 12 core values, and it continues to be an important part of who Landon students hope to become during their time at Landon. Two Landon leaders give Landon students a basic blueprint on how to become leaders.

The Landon hockey team has had an incredible season so far with many star players, including Owen Moore ’26. Since Owen joined the hockey team here at Landon, securing his spot on varsity as a freshman, he has continued to grow and impress the community due to his over-the-top skills and his undeniable hard work and determination. 

Lane Kiffin has caused uproar in the college football community recently. On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Kiffin accepted the position as head football coach of the Louisiana State University Tigers. The news shocked the nation, leaving many college football fans, including Landon students, talking about the situation.

Whether in the realm of theater, strings, band, or hand bells, the performing arts thrive at Landon. With every new school year at Landon, changes to various departments are inevitable.
