At Landon’s opening day Convocation ceremony, Student Body President Simon Schwartz ’25 and Head of School Jim Neill delivered speeches centered on community and how to make the most of the upcoming year.

Since 2003, hundreds of Landon students and faculty have registered as bone marrow donors, yielding several matches that have saved lives. 

Grade 9 students ended the year learning to read, analyze, and write poetry, culminating in a grade level “poetry slam” contest that brought out the entire grade for pizza, poems, and praise for their classmates. 

Students showcase their literary and artistic creativity in the Spring 2024 edition of Landon’s Upper School literary arts magazine, Prometheus Unbound.

The Class of 2024 includes 94 students who will attend 60 colleges and universities around the country. One student will take a postgraduate year. 82% of students will attend a school where they applied early or priority.
